The Team Edition of the Bigrock Sohtea. Built using higher modulus carbon than the regular version, this is one for the weight weenies. The Sohtea is a lightweight climbing frame with classic compact road bike geometry. Large round tubes give the best strength to weight ratio for those who prioritize grams over aero savings.

The Bigrock Sohtea is a modern take on a classic concept, wrapped in a super light package. Disc brakes and fully internal cable routing make it ready for today's hydraulic electronic groupsets, while a traditional double-triangle frame design with a shorter seat tube is a throwback to the compact road bike design of yesteryear. The advantage of this design is a better stiffness to weight ratio of the frame while offering more compliance to the saddle due to the increased length of exposed seat post.

A simple design, well executed
Sometimes the bike industry gets ahead of itself, designing bikes more and more complicated in the name of marginal gains.
The Bigrock Sohtea takes things back to basics. Two triangles, round tubes, nice and light.
The result? A suprisingly stiff bike for it's weight that has balanced handling and plenty of compliance in the saddle.
More Seatpost, More Comfort
On most road bikes today, shorter riders are left with tiny amounts of seat post sticking out the frame. This creates a harsh, uncomfortable ride with the short length of seat post unable to absorb the bumps. By shortening the seat tube, the Sohtea leaves more exposed seat post providing more comfort to the rider. Once you get used to the "strange" appearance, it starts to make a lot of sense...
Team Edition
While the Bigrock Sohtea is on the more affordable end of the spectrum, it's quality and finish are far from "cheap." The paint work is beautiful, mounting points have been finished with care, and the included accessories put many big brands to shame.

Frame Weights
Frame weights are listed without alloy parts/accessories:
Size XXS (45) : 603g ±5%
Size XS (49) : 615g ±5%
Size S (52) : 626g ±5%
Size M (54) : 638g ±5%
Size L (56) : 675g ±5%
Front fork: 285g ±10%
Note: These are the official weights provided by Bigrock. They claim they exclude alloy parts. We suspect this also means they exclude the T47 thread insert. Therefore, we expect real-world frameweights to be about 60g more than these official weights. (Including T47, front and rear mech hangers.)

Integrated Handlebar
When you order a Bigrock Sohtea frameset you are also able to add a Bigrock integrated handlebar to your order. The bar has great ergonomics and weighs around 320-360g depending on size.
